Wholesale Dried Alfonso Sea Urchin Shells in Bulk, Toxopneustes pileolus,  measuring between approximately 2-1/2 inches up to 3-7/8 inches. The case will have an assortment of sizes, colors and patterns. Alfonso urchins can come in a variety of combinations of colors from green and purple to dark green and light green, to green and white and others.  The Alfonso Sea Urchin is known as the Flower Urchin and is found in the Indo-West Pacific Region.  It is highly dangerous as it can deliver a very painful sting if touched.  It has short blunt spines covering its surface. The surface of the urchin is divided into cone shaped sections, evenly spaced and displaying numerous patterns.  No 2 will be identical.  These beautiful urchins are used in displaying air plants, in home decorating and in seashell crafts.  These are real - not replicas.  There may be tags attached "Made in the Philippines".
