Dyed Spotted Tun Shells for Sale, Tonna dolium, also called tonna tessellata seashells for hermit crab homes and seashell crafts measuring between approximately 1-1/2 inches to 2-1/2 inches in size. These shells have been dyed in colors pink, green, blue, rust purple, orange, gold and red. (Assortment of colors may vary slightly from bag to bag) Spotted tun shells are from the family Tonnidae. These shells are light weight and perfect homes for large hermit crabs, displaying air plants and for accents in shell baskets and glass containers used in seashell decor.
Tun shells are thin, light weight with a wide mouth opening. They are almost exclusively tropical, prefer deeper water, and feed mainly on fish, sea urchins and crustaceans. 

Our shells are commercial grade. All seashells sold in bulk may contain some shells with chipped edges and natural blemishes
