Matching pair of extra large warthog tusks, measuring approximately 10-1/4 and 10-3/8 inches, measured around the curve of the tusk using a cloth tape measure - not straight! The total weight is 10.2 ounces. This is a good, commercial grade pair of warthog tusks. There may be tiny surface cracks, chips and natural worn down tips.

Warthog ivory is used for making knife handles, carvings, making warthog handles for walking canes and for numerous taxidermy craft projects. Warthogs got their names from the bumps on their faces that look like warts. They also each have four tusks, two on each side of their snouts. The upper tusks are longer and curve toward each other. Warthogs are pigs that live in Africa south of the Sahara.
