20 kilos (44 pounds) Wholesale Serpent's-Head Cowrie Shells in bulk also referred to as Snakehead Cowries, Cypraea caputserpentis, for use in seashell crafts and displaying in glass containers.  These serpent's head cowrie shells measure between approximately 3/4 inch and 1-1/4 inches in size. The basic color of the shell is reddish-brown, with many whitish dots on the top of the dorsum, which sometimes shows a clear longitudinal line. The underside is light beige. Snakehead cowries can be found in the Red Sea, Indian Ocean, tropical Indo-West Pacific, Australis and the Philippines.  They tend to live on corals, rock reefs and rocky shores. 

Our serpent's head cowries are Real - Not Imitation.  They will have natural imperfections.  The tops of some of the shells may have a natural white film or a cloudy appearance.   (THIS CASE HAS 10 BAGS .  THERE IS 2 KILOS IN EACH BAG.  -  1 KILO = 2.2 POUNDS)
